The same category from more than one publisher. The national statistics office is the record; the IMF's series are its own compilation and can differ in definition, coverage and vintage.
BCH's linked base-2025 history and native base-1999 basket remain separate; the connector does not splice bases.
BCH publishes national and regional CPI series; regional definitions differ between the two source-native families.

| Honduras | BCH Honduras | 2004-12-01 | confirmed | HND.CPI_BCHB99_NAL_??_INDEX.M | 2026-09-19 | Series stops and later resumes |
| BCH's native base-1999 Rubros workbook ends each of its twelve division histories in December 2004 and resumes them in January 2008, while the national headline continues through the interval. The blanks are present in the immutable XLSX snapshot and all twelve series resume on the same source row, so this is a source-published three-year omission rather than collection or parsing loss. The linked base-2025 workbook publishes division values for those months, but substituting them into the native family would silently splice bases and is deliberately not done. | ||||||
| Honduras | BCH Honduras | 1991-02-01, 1991-04-01, 1991-12-01 | confirmed | HND.CPI_BCH*_NAL_08_INDEX.M | 2026-09-19 | Possible index rebasing, Single-month index anomaly |
| BCH's native base-1999 Rubros workbook publishes the Communications index at 68.3768 in January 1991, 34.3272 in February, 35.1771 in March, 70.5521 in April and 36.7558 in May, followed by another permanent 56.6% fall in December. The separately published linked base-2025 workbook contains the identical ratios after rescaling. The two archived workbooks and offline replay therefore rule out a parser or base-family identity error. The April value nearly doubles and immediately returns while the national index moves normally, so at least that isolated cell is a source-published discontinuity. Living Inflation Data preserves every BCH value and warns rather than altering or silently smoothing the series. | ||||||
