What building it taught us

The connector's own docstring, verbatim. It lives beside the code so it cannot drift from it.

Morocco consumer prices from the Haut-Commissariat au Plan (HCP).

HCP's public BDS API exposes the current 2017-base CPI at monthly and annual frequency for the national aggregate and 18 cities, through the source's division, group, and class hierarchy. The API also retains a separate annual 1972-73-base cost-of-living family. A workbook linked from HCP's current CPI methodology extends three national aggregates beyond the BDS publication lag, and the latest monthly release publishes their month-on-month and year-on-year rates. HCP's separate weights workbook supplies division and group shares.

Every base stays in its own identity. HCP documents intervening 1989 and 2006 families, but does not expose a consolidated machine-readable cube for them; the connector archives those methodology and transition resources for discovery and never silently splices their values into either API family.
