Kenya CPI from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics CPI Explorer.
KNBS publishes a keyless JSON API behind its official CPI Explorer. The Explorer carries an explicitly February-2019=100 headline backcast to January 2009 for Kenya, Nairobi income groups, Nairobi combined, and the rest of urban areas. The current 13-division classification is available nationally from February 2019 and for the five subnational cuts from January 2024. Deeper classification labels are exposed by the portal, but currently have no index observations, so the connector does not manufacture empty series for them.
