Vietnam National Statistics Office consumer-price connector.
Vietnam's NSO publishes its national CPI tables through a keyless legacy PXWeb interface. The public API catalogue does not expose the price database, but each official table offers a deterministic JSON-stat export. This connector submits the source's own export form and archives the returned bytes.
The four tables are complementary: a 2019-base monthly index for 2020-2024, published month-on-month rates from 2002, published year-on-year rates from 2010, and annual-average changes from 2000. Source-native expenditure groups remain under the `vnso2019` taxonomy; they are not asserted to be COICOP. Gold and US-dollar indices in the same files are outside the CPI dataset and are deliberately excluded. The source's 2025 level rows reset near 100 while its own rates continue across the boundary; those non-comparable levels remain in the raw archive but are not silently appended to the 2019-base series.
